Fall 2021 Trend Report
Last month, we were delighted to be able to attend a bridal market in person for the first time since 2019. It was so great to see all of our favorite bridal retailers and designers, as well as meet some new faces.
After emerging from lock down, some new trends have risen to the top this wedding season. Debra’s vast library of designs always holds strong with ever-changing trends. Vintage pieces cycle in and out of bestseller status, and new designs become quick favorites.
Here are Debra’s top trends for Autumn 2021:
Pearls
Pearls were everywhere in the fashion world this summer and they have made their way to bridal as well! The pearl version of our bestselling Salt earrings (called Pepper) was a bestseller at Market this year!
Necklaces
As belts fell out of favor, Debra has been predicting a rise in necklaces. She was proven right this market when we saw a surge in salons looking to buy necklaces. We love how these pendants finish off a bridal look.
Embellished Veils
Our Norwegian Wood veil has always been a bestseller. Debra recently created with Moon and Stars veil which extends the pearl and crystal scatter over the whole veil. This design was a favorite at Chicago Bridal Market and is a great way to bring some drama to a wedding look.
Hand Painted Veils
Though hand painted veils are always a staple in our collection, they really took off at market this year! Our Sweethearts veil features a hand painted floral design and is available to shop on our website.
